CRM Automation

Quick answer

CRM automation should live in the CRM you already pay for when it can route and log. Build beside it only when the CRM cannot express the handoff to operations, Tally, or a dealer portal. Start with one trigger — lead assigned, quote accepted, ticket closed — not “AI for sales”.

Automate the handoff, not the relationship

CRM automation that works: when a lead hits a stage, create the task, notify the owner, attach the quote PDF, open a ticket in the ops system. CRM automation that fails: a bot that “nurtures” with copy nobody approved, or a second database of customers beside the CRM.

Configure first

If your CRM already has workflows, use them. Duplicate customers across a custom side system are how Friday disappears. Packaged CRM product shapes also appear under LavisTech products when a catalogue fit is enough.

When custom integration earns it

When the accepted quote must become a job in a portal, a bill in Tally, or a dealer price that must not leak — that is often a small .NET path under business automation services. Messy inbound email may need AI business automation in front.

Readiness

Same five-point test as when to automate. If sales cannot agree stage definitions, fix that before you buy a sequence tool.
